★ SYSTEM OF LINEAR EQUATIONS ★

Given equation : y = - 3x + 1

2y = - 6x + 2

Now , framing the equations in a general way

- 3x + 1 - y = 0 and -6x + 2 - 2y = 0

using cross multiplication concept

-3/-6 = 1/2 = -1 /-2 = [1/2]

which means , the system of equations is consistent and the lines are coincident
