Hello! To solve this equation, first, add 5g to both sides. There are many instances where you would add, but because -5g is negative, you add. You do this to cancel that out, and get the integer without the variable on the right by itself. When you do this, you get 7g + 9 >= -12. Now, subtract 9 from both sides to get the 7g by itself. After that, you get 7g >= -21. Now, divide each side by 7 to isolate the variable. -21/7 is -3. There. g >= -3.
