Answer-

The vertex will be at
(-(1)/(3),(2)/(3))

Solution-

The parabolic equation given is,

y=3x^2+2x+1

Here,

a = 3, b = 2, c = 1

The equation of the axis of symmetry is,

x=-(b)/(2a)

Putting the values,

\Rightarrow x=-(2)/(2* 3)\\\\\Rightarrow x=-(1)/(3)

As we know, the axis of symmetry and the parabola meet only at one point and that is the vertex.

So, the vertex will be at
(-(b)/(2a),f(-(b)/(2a)))

Hence,

f(-(b)/(2a))=f(-(1)/(3))=3(-(1)/(3))^2+2(-(1)/(3))+1\\\\=3((1)/(9))-2((1)/(3))+1\\\\=(2)/(3)
