you can find the rate of the number of ounces in the jars of peanut butter.
you need to set up an equation that displays the constant relationship.

if A jar of peanut butter is 28 oz, then your equation would be
28j = o
meaning, you multiply 28 times the number of jars (J) to get the number of ounces (o).
So if the question is asking how many are in 6 jars, substitute in 6 for j.

28(6)
= o

and then simplify.

28 x 6
= 168.

so, 168
= o.

There will be 168 ounces in 6 jars of peanut butter.
hope this helps and have a great day!
