this is just a matter of subbing and solving to see if the equations are true

(-1,-30)...x = -1 and y = -30
y = 10x...so we sub
-30 = 10(-1)
-30 = -10 (incorrect)...so this is not a solution
================
(5,-1)...x = 5 and y = -1
y = 2x - 11
sub
-1 = 2(5) - 11
-1 = 10 - 11
-1 = -1 (correct)....so this is a solution
==============
y = 8x
sub in (2,16)...x = 2 and y = 16
16 = 8(2)
16 = 16 (correct)...so (2,16) is a solution

y = 8x
subbing in (1,8)...x = 1 and y = 8
8 = 8(1)
8 = 8 (correct)...so (1,8) is also a solution

thats all...just those 2 are the solutions
