In spite of the fact that the Masai did routinely exchange and coerce from their neighboring agrarian social orders, the Masai people groups' history was very not the same as that of Asian migrants. Not at all like in Asia, no substantial states or chiefdoms created among the peaceful and agrarian individuals of East Africa. Rather, the Masai and their horticultural neighbors were bound together by the ties of town and group and in addition through a start custom that made a bond among the pre-adult young men of different towns.
