Abnormal breath sound that can be heard in emphysema patient would be wheezing.

Wheezing would be a high-pitched sound that can be found in emphysema, COPD or asthma. In emphysema, the air will be trapped because of the airway is obstructed due to inflammation.
The patient will have a longer expiration phase and increased chest size. Increased air in the lung will cause the breathing sound to be diminished.
