Hi there,
1/3k + 80 = 1/2k + 120
1/3k - 1/2k = 120-80
-1/6k = 40
-k = 40/-1/6k
k= -240

Hope this helps :))

Answer:

k=
(-1)/(240)

Explanation:

Given :
(1)/(3k)+80 =(1)/(2k)+120.

To find : What does k =

Solution : We have given

(1)/(3k)+80 =(1)/(2k)+120.

On subtracting both sides by 80

(1)/(3k)=(1)/(2k)+120-80.

(1)/(3k)=(1)/(2k)+40.

On subtracting both sides by
(1)/(2k).

(1)/(3k)-(1)/(2k)= 40.

On taking common denominator

(2-3)/(6k)= 40.

(-1)/(6k)= 40.

k=
(-1)/(240).

Therefore, k=
(-1)/(240)
