We find the work using the formula as written below:
W = mgh/t
where
m is mass
g is gravity equal to 9.81 m/s²
h is the height
t is time
W = (81 kg)(9.81 m/s²)(3 m)/10 s = 238.38 W
To convert:
238.38 W( 1 hp/746 W) =
0.32 hp
