Answer:

The correct option is 3.

Explanation:

The area of a triangle is

A=(1)/(2)* b* h

Where, b is base of the triangle and h is the height of the triangle.

From the given figure it is noticed that the base of the triangle is 10 cm and the height of the triangle is 7 cm.

The triangle enlarged by a scale factor of 10. Now,

Base=10* 10=100

height=7* 10=70

The area of new triangle is

A=(1)/(2)* 100* 70

A=3500

Therefore the area of new triangle is 3500 cm². Option 3 is correct.

The original area is
A₁ = (1/2)*10*7 = 35 cm²

When scaled by a factor of 10, the base of the triangle is 100 cm and the height is 70 cm.
The new area is
A₂ = (1/2)*100*70 = 3500 cm²

Answer: 3500 cm²
