| 5x - 6| = -41/2
|5x - 6| = -20.5
this has no solutions because an absolute value cannot be equal to a negative number

|7x + 13 | = 27
7x + 13 = 27 and 7x + 13 = -27...this one has 2 solutions

so equation 2 has more solutions then equation 1
