What is 6-2(x+3)=10-3x

first do the outer bit 6-2=4. 4(x+3) is 4*3=4X AND 4*3=12=
so 4x+12=10-3x from this we can collect like tems by putting the x on one side
4x--3x=7x+12=10
7x=10-12
7x=-2
x=-2/7=0.29

you get 10 by multiply through parentheses by -2
eliminate the opposites
move the variable to the left collect the like terms
