What is the difference between mitosis and metosis?

Mitosis:Division of a parent cell, producing 2 identical daughter cells. (For growth and repair of body. Chromosome number remain the same in each cell.)

Metosis: 2 divisions of a germ cell, producing 4 non-identical gametes. (For genetic diversity in sexual reproduction. Chromosome reduce by half in each cell.)
