Depending on the focus setting, if you want a subject in an image to stand out, the background/everything else may be blurry-ish for the subject to ultimately come into one's immediate perspective. True, for that reason. If you're looking for a clear image all around, and the subject matter is perhaps the whole image, then you'd want zero blur. So in that instance, false.

True.because depending on what the image is of we might want to blur something out or whatever.
