How did life differ in each of the three main regions of the British colonies?

Middle colonies: Temperate climate, more prosperous, "bread basket", diversity of people and not a lot of slavery.

South: Warm climate, longer growing period, most valuable and profitable crops,plantation economy and a lot of slaves.
