How did jackson's vision of the presidency differ from that of his predecessors?

Jackson sought to advance the right of the common man against a 'corrupt aristocracy' thus he fought for the rights of the ordinary citizen presumably the right to 'life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness' unobstructed by the power of the rich capitalists,
