These remittances are a vital lifeline to the family of the Mexican worker in the US back home in Mexico and help them to pay for basic costs of living like shelter, food and clothing and transportation so if it is cut off as Trump appears to be trying to do then it will create a big hardship for both the migrant workers and their families in Mexico.
