Rolling resistance is the force that is resisting motion when the dragster or car built rolls on the track. Resistance is due to friction, such as between the axles and car body or the wheels and axles. The best way to avoid rolling resistance is to maintain correct wheel alignment. If wheel alignment is not correct, axle holes are not drilled straight or perpendicular to the car’s longitudinal axis. The car veers drastically to the right or left, resulting in rolling resistance.
