y=mx+c
m1 x m2 = - 1 for perpendicular lines
m= -1/5
so now y= - 1/5x + c
Substitute given coordinate
3= (-1/5 × 3) +c
3= -3/5 + c
add 3/5 to both sides
2.6 (a.k.a 18/5) = y
So therefore:
y=(-x+18)/5
I think this is correct
