Supplementary angles add up to 180°

Angle y is the large angle: y= 5x+6

180= x+y
180= (5x+6) + x
180=6x+6
174=6x
x=29

180= y+29
y=151°

Answer:

Measure of the largest angle = 151°

Explanation:

Let the angle be a.

We have an angle is 6 more than five times its supplementary angle.

That is

a = 5(180 -a ) + 6

a = 900 - 5a + 6

6a = 906

a = 906/6 = 151°

Measure of the largest angle = 151°
