1/100 in decimal form is .01
.01 * 305 = 3.05
3.05 ft is 1/100th of 305 ft.

3.05 feet. If we divide 305 into 100 parts, 305/100, we can find 1/100th of the 305 feet. 305/100=3.05 feet.
