Hello there!
(3.6)^x = 45
We wanna start by taking log of both sides.
log(3.6)^x = log(45)
x * (log(3.6))= log (45)
x = log(45)/log(3.6)
x = 2.971787
Thus, the correct answer is x = 2.97
I hope this helps!
