Simplify the equation to n-6=4n+18
subtract 4n from both sides
n-6-4n=4n+18-4n
-3n-6=18
add 6 to both sides
-3n-6+6=18+6
-3n=24
divide both sides by -3
-3n/3=24/-3.
n=-8
hope this helps!
