From the graph you can read off the slope, m, of the given line.

It is m = rise over run. Here, run = 0 -(-5), or 5, and
rise = -3 - (-4), or 1.

So the slope is m = rise/run = 1/5.

Now find the eqn of the parallel line that passes thru (-2,2):

y - 2 = (1/5) (x + 2) in point-slope form
