The concept of answer this item is the man-days equation. This means that the man-days of the original plan should be equal to that of the real activity. From the given,
(60)(16) = (5)(60) + (11 + x)(60 - 5)
where x is the number of extra days that the bricklayers will still have to work to complete the job. The value of x from the equation is 1
