Suzanne ran 3 3/4 miles in the morning and 4 1/2 ​ miles in the afternoon. How many kilometers did she run altogether? Assume 1 mile = 1.6 kilometers.

4 1/2 = 18/4
3 3/4 = 15/4

15/4 + 18/4 = 8 1/4 or 33/4

33/4 * 1.6/1 = 52.8/4 = 13.2

When assuming 1 mile equals 1.6 kilometers, Suzanne ran 13.2 kilometers in all.
