We know that the cost of 5 kg of peanuts is $4.50, then the unit price per kilogram is $4.50/5 kg = 0.90 $/kg And the unit price per gram is: $0.90 / kg * 1 kg/1000 = 0.0009 $/g or 0.09 cents/gram
