The geometric sequence is given with the first term as 6, and the common ratio as 2. The nth term of a GP is derived as follows;

\begin{gathered} n_(th)=ar^(n-1) \\ \text{When } \\ a=6,r=2 \\ n_2_{}=6*2^(2-1) \\ n_2=6*2^1 \\ n_2=12 \\ n_3=6*2^(3-1) \\ n_3=6*2^2 \\ n_3=6*4 \\ n_3=24 \\ n_4=6*2^(4-1) \\ n_4=6*2^3 \\ n_4=6*8 \\ n_4=48 \end{gathered}

Therefore the first 4 terms are

6, 12, 24 and 48
