x/5 > -2

">" is the greater than sign, and ">" means it is greater than or equal to since it is underlined. All you have to do now is put the inequality into slope-intercept form (y = mx + b) and plot the line on a graph.

In this inequality, -2 is y and x/5 is x. Just rearrange the terms while still keeping the answer the same.

x/5 > -2
-2 < x/5 Notice that the sign changed to "less than or equal to." This is because x/5 is still greater than or equal to -2, which makes -2 less than or equal to x/5.

Since it is "or equal to," we can discover what x could be by multiplying -2 by 5, which is -10. So the non-dotted line goes over the point -10 on the x-axis, straightly vertical without a slope, and everything that is greater than -10 is shaded, which is everything on the right side of the line. It should look like the attachment below.
