Let x be the number of adults (under 50 years old) after a 12-hour fast where X ~ N(85,25)

The problem is missing some parts but here are the answers:

(a) x is more than 60

z(60) = (60-85)/25 = -1

P(x > 60) = P(z > -1) = 0.158655

(b) x is less than 110
z(110) = (110-85)/25 = 1

P(x < 110) = P(z < 1) = 0.841345
