Most people do not understand politics and do not have interest in what happens in the government so they never seek out what different politicians can do to harm/help America. Choosing your next leader should be a very important privilege but unfortunately people are not in tuned about what politicians can do to this country. People should educate themselves in such important manners but they don't so we should not require everyone to vote if they don't know what they are doing or choosing.
