Barb is paid $8 an hour at her new job. She wishes to graph her total pay, T, as a function of the number of hours, h. Barb works between 5 and 25 hours a week.

Select from the drop-down menus to correctly complete each statement.

"To best show this information, the scale for the T-axis of her graph should go from 0 to at least (5 , 8 , 25 , 40 , or 200). The h-axis if her graph should go from 0 to (5 , 10 , 25 , 40 , 200)

Let

T-----> the total pay

h----> the number of hours

we know that

T\geq 8(5) ------->
T\geq \$40

T\leq 8(25) ------>
T\leq \$200

The domain of the function is the interval------->
[5,25]

5\ hours \leq h \leq 25\ hours

The range of the function is the interval------->
[40,200]

therefore

the answer is

the scale for the T-axis of her graph should go from
0 to at least
200

The h-axis if her graph should go from
0 to
25
