Answer:

Muslim art was noted for the use of calligraphy, geobetric shapes, and the arabesque style in religious art and architecture. In contrast, Christian art used scenes from the Bible and the lives of the aints in sculptures, stained glass, and paintings to decorate churches.

Answer: It seems the other answers didn't really look at Islamic art. Christianity and western art in general allows for depiction of people--saints, holy men and women, children, etc. Islamic art does not allow for the depiction of people. There's an emphasis in Islamic art on geometric form, murals, and vegetation. Animals are rare in Islamic art, but you can occasionally find a piece that incorporates one.
