A number is n, when added to 15 less than 3 times itself result is 101.

As we are given number is = n

Three times itself = 3n

Then, 15 less than 3 times itself = 3n - 15

Now if we add n to 15 less than 3 times itself we get the result is 101. Now the expression will be

n + (3n-15) = 101

4n - 15 = 101
