volume for a sphere (ball) is 4/3 x PI x r^3

r = 6.3, r^3 = 6.3^3 = 250.047

volume = 4/3 x 3.14 x 250.047 = 1046.863

rounded to nearest hundredth = 1046.86 cubic inches
