The executive office of the president, or "president's right arm", hosts many federal agencies which are responsible for many important functions in government. For example, the Department of Agriculture (USDA), Department of Commerce (DOC), Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Education, Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) are all federal agencies that are a part of the executive branch.
