Pythagorean Theorem: a^2 + b^2 = c^2

A and B are the sides given to us, because they're not the hypotenuse. Square each at add them.

That leaves you with 289. Square root it, because we want to find C without being squared.

The square root of 289 is 17, so the hypotenuse is 17 m in length
