I WILL GIVE 20 POINTS!!! Multicellular organisms have five levels of organization ranging from simplest to most complex. The simplest level is the cellular level. You are the most complex level: you are an organism. List the five levels of organization, from simplest to most complex. Describe each level with one or two sentences. Give an example at each level.

Cells - Are the basic unit of structure and function in living things. May serve a specific function with the organism.
Tissue - Made up of cells that are similar in structure and function and which work together to perform a specific activity. Organ - Made up of tissues that work together to perform a specific activity.
Organ System - Groups of two or more tissues that work together to perform a specific function for the organism.
Organism - Entire living things that can carry out all basic life processes. Meaning they can take in materials, release energy from food,grow, release waste products from respiration, reproduce and respond the the environment.
Usually made up of many organ systems but an organism such as a bacteria is a unicellular organism so is only made of one cell.
