It can either be a question, statement or opinion. This is a statement because it doesn't say "I think the moon is made of green cheese" or "Is the moon made of green cheese?"

Answer: First option is correct.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

The moon is made of green cheese.

Since it is a statement.

As we know that

Statement is defined as a clear expression of anything in writing.

It should have one subject and one predicate.

According to question,

"The moon" is a subject.

"is made of green cheese" is a predicate.

Hence, First option is correct.
