9 = -2 + 2x + 1
Add 2 by both sides.
11 = 2x + 1
Subtract 1 from both sides.
10 = 2x
Divide by 2 on both sides.
5 = x

x - 4 = -9 + x
Add 4 to both sides.
x = -5 + x
Subtract x from both sides.
0 = -5
There are no solutions.
