Find the equation of the line that contains the point (4,−2) (4,-2) and is perpendicular to the line y=−2x+5

To find perpendicular lines you take a (-2), flip the number and the sign so that gets you 1/2. Then you check and keep doing 1/2 until you find the y int which is 0. The equation is y=1/2x+0 (you don't need the 0). Im pretty bad at explaining but the answer is correct.
