→Mid point of a line segment means that point on the line segment which divides the Segment in the ratio of 1:1.

(x_(1),y_(1)),(x_(2),y_(2)) is


((x_(1)+x_(2))/(2),(y_(1)+y_(2))/(2))

So, Mid point of line segment that has endpoints at (–0.5, 3) and (4, 7.5) is


((-0.5+4)/(2),(3+7.5)/(2))=((3.5)/(2),(10.5)/(2))=(1.75,5.25).
