Can someone tell me if this is good for a paragraph over what I did yesterday? I started writing on it Monday, so it's about Sunday.

Hier ma famille est allée à l'église presbytérienne. J'ai porté une robe rouge et chaussures noires. Après l'église, ma famille est allée à la maison. Après je suis arrivé à la maison, j'ai attendu un ami pour envoyer un texto. Après j’ai attendu mon ami pour envoyer un texto, j'ai lavé ma chambre. Pour dîner, ma famille est mange un sandwich avec des tomates et du fromage. Après dîner, j’ai mangé le bonbon frais pour le dessert. Après le dessert, ma famille est regardée la télévision. Après ma famille est regardée la télévision, j’ai étudié pour l’anglais. Après j’ai étudié l’anglais, j’ai dormi.

You should sometimes use "imparfait" instead of "passé compossé" =

Hier, je suis allée en famille à l'église presbytérienne. Je portais une robe rouge et des chaussures noires. Ensuite, nous (ma famille et moi)sommes allés à la maison. . Puis,une fois arrivée, (it's not clear...you sent a texto to wait for a friend or the opposite...), j'ai envoyé un texto à un ami pour l'attendre (I sent a texto to a friend to wait for him ???? Say in comment, I'll tell you) or the way you said = j'ai attendu un ami pour envoyer un texto (= I waited for a friend to send a texto ???).'or après avoir attendu un ami pour envoyer un texto, j'ai fait le ménage dans ma chambre. Pour le diner, ma famille et moi avons mangé un sandwich avec des tomates et du fromage. Après le diner, j'ai mangé le bonbon frais (what is this ???) pour le dessert.
Pour finir, ma famille a regardé la télévision ; moi j'ai étudié mon anglais et j'ai éteint la lumière pour dormir (I switched the light off to sleep)

I tried to avoid too much of "après" and "my family"..so it doesn't sound repetitive . But I didn't understand exactly what you wanted to say about your friend and the texto. If you could write it in comment in English, then I'll tell you.
