The given equation is:


y\text{ = }(-3)/(2)x\text{ + 1}

This takes the form of the slope-intercept form of the equation of a line :

y = mx + c

where m is the slope

and c is the intercept

Comparing the two equations:

m = -3/2

c = 1

This means that the line touches the y axis on the point y = 1

And for every -3 unit movement on the y axis, there is a movement of 2 unit on the x axis
