Correct answer: C) Brain plasticity

Brain plasticity is defined as the ability of the brain to change by generating or reorganizing new neural pathways. It is also known as neuroplasticity.

It is the ability of the brain to re-write itself. Without this any brain, not only human brain would be unable to recover from brain injury or able to develop infancy to adulthood.

There are two types of neuroplasticity:

1). Functional Plasticity: It involves ability of the brain to move its function from damaged area to undamaged area of the brain.

2). Structural plasticity: It is the ability of the brain to change its structure as a result of learning.
