The slope of a line is fraction in the format rise over run, so you would put how much it goes up from the bottom point for the numerator, and the denominator is how many spaces over from there

the slope is basically how the line isn't proportional since the slope is the y-axis. and when y is let's say 5 is y and x is 0 the slope is 5
