How many 1/4 teaspoon doses are im 7/8 teaspoon of medicine

To start, first make the denominators of 1/4 and 7/8 the same, so find their greatest common factor. This would be 8, so since 7/8 already has 8 as it's denominator, turn 1/4 to 2/8. Then, think about how many 2/8s would go into 7/8 which would be 3.5. Another easier way to do this would to just divide 7/8 and 1/4 which would be 28/8 or 3.5.
