slope = m = (difference in y)/(difference in x)

Subtract the y-coordinates: 2 - 1 = 1
Subtract the x-coordinates in the same order:5 - 10 = -5

slope = m = (difference in y)/(difference in x) = 1/(-5) = -1/5
