So first you subtract 2 from both sides and you get
2(m-10)=22
Then divide both sides by 2:
m-10=11
And finally, add 10 to both sides
m=21

2(m-10) + 2 = 24
2m - 20 + 2 = 24
2m - 18 = 24
2m - 18 (+18) = 24 (+18)
2m = 42
2m/2 = 42/2
m = 21
hope this helps
