madison is training for a marathon her goal is to run 26.2 miles a day she currently can run 18.5 miles a day about how many more miles does she nees to run to reach her goal

She needs to be able to run 7.7 more miles a day.

In order to find this amount, we need to start by taking the amount she wants to run and subtracting what she is already able to. She wants to run 26.2 miles and can already run 18.5 miles.

26.2 - 18.5 = 7.7 miles
